Heroic Pastoral Company, Ellerston, tops 25th Annual Coal Country Angus Sale at the Hunter Regional Livestock Exchange in Singleton | The Land

IT MAY have been a smaller yarding than organisers had hoped for but the quality of the 500 weaner steers and heifers offered was exceptional at the 25th Annual Coal Country Angus Sale at the Hunter Regional Livestock Exchange in Singleton.

The Angus weaner heifers and steers were offered by 10 local producers, but lot feeders dominated the market during the sale last Friday.

The competition between sale sponsor Killara Feedlot and other commercial buyers, as well as plenty of heavier weaners, meant prices rose from Singleton’s last store sale earlier in the month.
