Nationals choose Clarence Town local David Layzell over Singleton Mayor Sue Moore for Upper Hunter by-election

The NSW Nationals have chosen Clarence Town local David Layzell over Singleton Mayor Sue Moore in their pre selection last night as the Upper Hunter candidate for the by-election.

The NSW Nationals said last night the candidate had been chosen as he is a “hardworking local with a proven track record of working in the community to create a safer and stronger Upper Hunter.”

David Layzell said he was passionate about protecting local jobs, listening to people and finding common-sense solutions. 
 
“The NSW Nationals have delivered for the region over the last ten years in government, but there’s always more to be done,” David Layzell said.
